Run Free is a clean and sober Burning Man camp for folks whose common goal is enlargement of spiritual life through new adventures in being human and living life to the fullest.

The guiding principles are those contained in most 12 step literature: Live and Let Live, To Thine Own Self Be True, Love and Tolerance of Others and of Diverse Opinions, Learning and Growing Through Interactions with Others and Self-Reflection, and a Commitment to Being Helpful and Useful to Others. There are no people to please, no lectures to endure, and nothing but encouragement to let your spirit run free and experience life. Your inventory is your own and the promotion of a shame-free and judgment-free environment is essential. Since it is by its nature a clean and sober oriented group, a commitment to a clean and sober burn from each member is the only mandate. We plan open 12-step recovery meetings and sober events.

Since there will be Gay, Lesbian, Transgender, Transexual and Polyamorous members, you should be gay, etc-friendly. And... Since will be Straight, Monogamous and Asexual members, you should be straight, monogomy and asexual friendly.

The composition of the group in any given year will make all decisions through direct democracy (and mature acceptance). We plan open 12-step recovery meetings and sober events.
